The position holder is responsible for the design processing of individual assemblies and components. The position holder also ensures that order processes are triggered for purchasing in accordance with the designs to ensure timely production.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development and design of individual components and assemblies
- Coordination with in-house and external design offices
- Coordination with specialist departments (e.g. hydraulics, electrics and automation)
- Development of standardization concepts
- Supporting of purchasing department as well as workshop in technical issues and service support
- Innovative thinking in products and processes
- Prospective taking over of technical responsibility for complete systems
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Successfully completed technical training (university degree or technician)
- Ideally knowledge in construction and production technology of rolling mills/ strip processing lines or their operation
- Willingness to work, flexibility and high resilience
- Profound knowledge of current CAD-systems, ideally AutoCAD/ Inventor
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Very good skills in English (orally and in writing)
- Initiative and sense of responsibility
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to travel
