We are looking for you to join our team in the Technical Office in Meinerzhagen!
You will be responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of the projects assigned to you. In this role, you will work closely with and support other project stakeholders, such as the workshop, sales department, purchasing department, site.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support to Sales: to prepare technical specifications together with electrical supplier, participate in meetings with customer to clarify scope of supply, check inquiry documents belong to offer
- Support to Purchasing: to prepare technical specifications, inquiry documents to be used by purchasing to place an order to electrical supplier/ communication with electrical suppliers to clarify scope of supply
- Creation of lists for motor and sensor list, local station, and command
- Creation of the work safety concept, functional description, circuit diagrams for distribution boxes, data sheets for the main/auxiliary motors
- Creation of the layout of the electrical fields, cable routes
- Creation of the support to workshop for workshop tests (connection of motors to inverter, power network for some mandatory tests),
- Collaborate closely with project manager and site manager during installation & commissioning phase
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- M. Sc. Electrical & Automation Engineering
- First experience in Metals industry preferred
- You are team-oriented, communicative and you like to work in a multicultural team with deep knowledge of steel production
- You are motivated by passion for innovation and with very good skills in English and German (B2/C1)
- Willingness to travel: irregularly (domestic and abroad up to 25 % per year)
