The position holder is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of their assigned projects. In this function, the position holder closely cooperates with and supports other project stakeholders, such as workshop, sales department, purchasing department, site.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technological improvement of plant productivity, quality and safety
- Review / simplification and optimization of processes
- Identification of potential savings in cycle / change and sequence times
- Consideration & evaluation of the evaluation methodology
- Implementation of improvement potentials in existing and new plants
- Organization of as well as supervision and support of the commissioning and start-up team
- Support of sales department in plant design and calculation of technical parameters
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Successfully completed technical training (university degree or technician) in the field of mechanical engineering
- Good knowledge and experience of flat rolling & slitting line technologies and products
- You are team-oriented, communicative and you like to work in a multicultural team with deep knowledge of steel production
- You are willed to work and travel worldwide
- You´re flexible and show high resilience
- You are confident in handling CAD tools
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Fluent in written and spoken English
