The main task of the project manager is the temporal and financial coordination of customer projects. The PM assumes responsibility for a new order within the framework of an internal kick-off meeting. In addition to being jointly responsible for planning and organizing order processing, the PM also serves as an interface for our customers during order processing and the warranty period. Thus, the PM accompanies the entire process chain of product realization both for new orders and for extensive service activities.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling of worldwide customer projects
- Coordination of projects with all partners involved, e.g. customer, supplier, in-house responsible
- Responsibility for the planning, control and monitoring of cost- and schedule-related processing
- Coordination of projects from design phase, through purchasing and assembly, to commissioning and final acceptance at the customer's premises
- Communication with the customer
- Internal reporting to management
- Claim management
- Risk analysis and mitigation
YOUR QUALIFICATION
- Successfully completed technical training (university degree or technician) in the field of physics, mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable degree
- Experience in the field of special mechanical engineering or plant construction, in construction site operations incl. occupational health and safety
- Professional experience as a manager, ideally in special machine construction
- Very strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work in a team, motivation, independent and structured way of working
- Fluent German and English
- Willingness to travel, even for several months
