Danieli Centro Cranes delivers more than just advanced crane equipment. We provide a complete, integrated solution that transforms cranes into semi/fully automated, intelligent, and unmanned tools, seamlessly connected to plant production systems and yard logistics.
Our cranes are equipped with smart sensors, automation algorithms, and modern communication systems that enable advanced capabilities such as absolute positioning, object recognition, remote operation and supervision, as well as preventive maintenance and real-time data processing. This technological foundation allows crane operations to be performed with high precision and reliability, and remarkable reductions in plant operating costs.
Thanks to this automation, safety is significantly increased, as no personnel is required in the operational area. All activities are monitored and controlled from a ground remote pulpit, ensuring better working conditions for operators, while maximizing crane and yard performance.
At the core of this system is the Danieli Yard Management System (DYMS), a proprietary, in-house solution developed entirely by Danieli. DYMS manages all aspects of yard logistics, including raw material handling, process crane coordination, and the handling of finished and semi-finished products.
Using intelligent algorithms, DYMS continuously analyzes real-time plant status, material inventory, and equipment availability to generate optimized movement missions for cranes, transfer cars and other material handling equipment. It selects the most suitable equipment for each task and dynamically adapts to operational changes. Moreover, it identifies the most efficient storage locations and defines the best possible routes for each movement, maximizing yard capacity, minimizing equipment travel time, and reducing wear.
This comprehensive automation results in improved asset utilization, increased productivity, reduced operational costs, and a safer, more efficient working environment.
